Alexandra was lead down the stairs, a blindfold over her eyes, and her boyfriend/foster-brother leading her. She was lead up stairs and behind a set of curtains. The blindfold was removed and she found herself on a stage, the walls reminding her of the basement walls in their house...
"You built a stage for m downstairs?" She squealed, bouncing up and down on the stop.
"I had a bit of help, but yeah, I did." He gave her a charming smile. How about you try it out?" She nodded and he turned on the music.
As she began dancing, the curtains opened and she saw all their friends, and their family, sitting there, smiling at her. The cheered her on, cheering and calling out her name. She glanced over to Lucas to see him smiling softly at her.
She danced, a smile slipping on her face. Then the stage suddenly bursted into flames. Nobody noticed, still hooting and cheering. An older Lucas appeared before, a hurtful smirk on his face. She was no longer fourteen, now seventeen again. She stopped dancing.
"I never loved you, Alex." Lucas snarled, "I only asked you out because you where pretty. I left you because you wanted the one thing I never even wanted to give you: Love."
"No," She gasped, tears in her eyes. "You're the only person I loved, you can't mean that."
"But I do." He prodiced a dagger and suddenly it came rushing towards her.
Alex River shot up, eyes wide. She glanced over at her roommate's bed before slipping out from under her covers.

The rustling of my roommate exiting her bed and the room woke me, but I did not move, I pretended I saw still asleep, unaffected by her sudden awakening. It was my plan to keep my eyes close, and drift back into the world of dreams, where anything and everything could be possible, but also a place were demons lurked, hidden in the shadows. It was my plan, but when I tried to fall back asleep, I couldn’t. I knew I wouldn’t be able to, the unease of my roommate lingered in the bedroom.
I pulled my covers back, slipping my feet over the side of my bed and sliding them into my slippers. I grabbed my night robe from a hook on my closet door before slipping out of the room in search of her. I didn’t really have any idea where to look, she can’t have gone far, but she still could have gone in any direction. I took a look down the narrow hallway, but saw nothing. An idea hit me then.
The theatre? The drama room? I know that she loves the stage, loves acting and singing, so maybe she would seek out her place of passion in a time of unease? I knew that when I feel sad, or alone or anything negative, I go to the field. It may not be right, but at least it’s a start. And so with a small yawn, I started in the direction of the theatre.

Alex sat on her bed, knees pulled up and head resting on them. For a moment she wondered why Braelyn left the room, but decided it didn't matter. Lucas dominated her thoughts in an instance. Was what he said in the dream true? Did he really not love, just dated her to play sik little mind games? Tears she had been bottling up ever since she saw that girl get shot came rushing out, coating her face in salty water. Vilonet sobs racked her body. Why? Why did these things happen to her?
