Tora closed her eyes as she sat down in front of the sink. She
cared to much about her hair, her mother had told her. Well,
there isn't going to be that problem anymore. It was going to be
cut... Short. She and her brothers had always joked about
cutting her hair short, so she would fit in the house of boys.
"You have such beautiful hair!" The stylist gushed. "I don't know
why you want to get rid of it. But it's not my job to know."
Last night, she had talked to her best friend, Nana. The Demons
of Haven, as they had called themselves, had fallen apart. Brian
hadn't been seen around in awhile. Holly had gone to New York
for college, being one year older then them.
"OK, you can get up now." The stylist said. Tora opened her eyes
and sat up. She followed the young stylist to a chair, hair
trapped in a towel. Her eyes scanned the salon for anybody else.
