Role play sample:
With small puffs of breath, Rosemary concentrated on going at least on more block…at least that much more. Her head was sore from her tight ponytail, causing her to be less concerned about her exercise and more on the pain in her skull. Her jogging continued evenly, the crisp air not helping the strain Rose was putting on her body.
The sight around her was nice though. The leaves were just now beginning to change, so the colors were inviting. It wasn’t to cold, but it still held a edge that you almost couldn’t notice when you first came out from your warm home. The roads weren’t empty, with the cars coming and going at will, but it also wasn’t busy where it would have been annoying to hear the noise of the cars constantly.
Rose put her hands on her legs and leaned forward, breathing heavily. She could still feel the energy pulsing through her, but this still felt like an accomplishment since this was the farthest she had jogged yet. Now she just had to jog back home where she was sure a nice hot supper would be ready for her.
Name: Rosemary Marie Lennix
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Sexual orientation: Heterosexual
Appearance:
Hair
Rose never really told anyone what her true hair color is. She rotates from sandy blonde in the late spring, summer, and early fall, but dyes it red in late fall, through till the middle of spring. Her thick hair can be hard to manage, the strands always wishing to entwine in each other, but Rose manages it well enough. Sometimes a simple ponytail will do, sometimes Rose must go to measures that are more dramatic. She prefers her hair to be long, so it’s not often that you see her with short hair. The shortest she has ever gone with her hair is a little less than shoulder length hair.
Eyes
Misty grew eyes draw your attention, darkening with her mood when she’s frustrated or angry. The eyes are the windows to the soul, so Teresa must always do her best to keep her emotions in check. Dark and medium length eyelashes frame her almond shaped eyes.
Body
Rose has the classic hourglass shape. She is about a half millimeter from being 5”5, but doesn’t quit reach that high yet. After growing up taller than most guys, she wasn’t exactly happy about them all growing taller than her now that they were all teenagers. She keeps her body fit by practicing football, or soccer as the Americans call it. Her legs aren’t chicken legs, but rather muscled and leaving her to wish she had more elegant legs like some of the girls she sees around the academy.
Personality:
Stubborn
Calling Rose stubborn would be an understatement. Once she makes up her mind, anything less than an earthquake won’t change her mind. With the variety of decisions she must make, she at least considers her options before making up her mind. She can be single-minded at times when she’s working on a project, which is good for her grades but not for her social life.
Active
Rose likes being active, doing sports and theatre. She can get to her classes quickly if the many students that are around her in the hallways do not distract her. She likes to take an evening run, opposed to a morning run, before it gets too dark to stay in shape. She doesn’t like being out running alone when it’s too dark, so just in case she comes prepared with pepper spray and a knife hidden on her person.
Smart
Rose can be very smart when she wants to be. She might not be the smartest of the bunch, but she gets by well with her A’s and B’s. She studies hard for tests and exams, takes notes during class, but sometimes she just doesn’t remember some of the information given during a lesson. Either that or she got lost in her thoughts during that part of the lesson, which she might be given to do at some of the more boring lessons.
Feisty
Rose has a temper. Not a full blown temper that will make her kill you for the slightest thing, but it’s still a temper none the less. She isn’t perfect at verbal insults, but she makes do. She is a bit good with physical attacks, but again she’s not a guarantied win every time. She has come a long way from how she used to be, so she has found ways around physical contact and the dreaded ‘You’re parents have been called’.
Inpatient
Rosemary really doesn’t like to wait. She begins to fidget when she’s forced to wait, which could mean shifting weight from one foot to another, chewing on the inside of her cheek, tapping her thumbs against her folded hands, rolling from the balls of her feet to her toes, and much more. She’s become very creative on what she can do to distract herself from the wait.
Life Views
Rose is firmly against some economical things that are happening on the earth. She is against abortion, for the reason that people shouldn’t be given the option of murdering a helpless child that isn’t even fully formed. There are many people who would kill to have a child, and yet some people are as rude as to kill the baby because its ‘inconvenient’. Then there is global warming or climate change that it’s now called. It’s all crap to her. She knows the truth. Climates change because guess what, the earth rotates around the sun so it gets warming and colder. Is that really a crisis?
Emotions
Rosemary has become very emotional after her hormones kicked it. Emotions in overdrive is never a good thing. It means she can be overly emotional at times, and she hates it. She hadn’t been a crier before, but now she has found that she has the ability to cry. It isn’t too often, but it still annoys her. She’d rather just be upset, because tears don’t solve a thing.
History:
(Lennix)Her grandparents had moved to America after their wedding, wanting a fresh start for themselves. They had three kids before their death, the third being Rose’s dad. Growing up with two older brothers, her dad had a tough childhood as the baby of the family. Her dad was a great student, getting A’s and the occasion B in his school. He went to a nice college, not well known but it was still nice. After college he met her mother, whom he had an on and off again relationship for five years before marrying her.
(Gilding) Her mother was part English and Part American. She grew up in a nice family with no brothers or sisters but many friends to keep her company. She wasn’t great at school, but she passed every class she took and that was good enough for her. She didn’t go to college, but instead starting working straight out of high school at her family’s store. It was in that shop that she met Rose’s dad.
Rose was born on April 7 at 11:26 pm at the local hospital. Her parents had rushed in at 5 pm with pain labors so both her grateful it was finished. Rose had been a small child, but seemed to be perfectly normal for a baby. Rosemary Marie Lennix was named after her grandmothers, Rosemary Lennix and Marie Gilding.
Rosemary grew up around loving parents and a good home. Both grandparents visited often with cousins for entertainment. All her cousins are older than her, so she was often left out or ignored. She would do her best to keep up with them, running around and trying her best to imitate whatever they did. She idolized them and often learned some things her parents would rather she hadn’t.
Rose entered school and hated it at first. She didn’t like her teacher, she didn’t like her classmates, and she didn’t like the school. It took only a week, though, for her to change her mind. She grew to have some friends, and even get on the good side of the teacher. She really loved playing with the clay.
Rose went through grade school quickly, one year learning how to play the piano, then the next learning how to play the clarinet. Neither instrument did she learn much in, only having one year with the piano and two with the clarinet. Rose thought she had done well, so she simply did what she could after she stopped taking lessons. Eventually, she stopped playing all together except for when she gets particularly bored and then she’ll do something simple on either instrument.
Currently, she just transferred from her old school to Sunset Creek Academy. She doesn't know anyone from the school, or at least she doesn't think she knows anyone there. It seems like a different school from the prep school she went to home where there were no dorms. Now, she not only had a dorm but had a dorm with another person. This could be terrifying or it could only time will tell.

Medical History:[/color]
There isn’t much to a medical history for Miss Murphy. She hasn’t had the chicken pox yet and has done every set of shots necessary to be in school. She once took a trip out of the country so she had to get a vaccine for hepatitis A and hepatitis B. She doesn’t get sick too often, but she has had scarlet fever before.
