How long have you been role playing?: About...3 weeks ?
Role play sample:
It was an early Sunday morning, and it was cold. She could see her breath in the air as it came out in puffs. She paused to catch her breath, she had been at it for two hours already, and the sun was only just beginning to rise. She no longer left the stabbing of the cold on her bare skin, for anything not covered by clothing was numb. The grass was wet, the water socking through her cleats making her socks damp and cold. Her finger’s were number, but she doesn’t need them, not for what she’s doing. The sweat on her brow turns cold and it runs down her face, disappearing over her chin.
“Braelyn! No breaks yet, you shouldn’t be this tired, it’s only been two hours!” She hears her dad yelling from the kitchen window. She tries to ignore it, but it roots in the back of her head. Braelyn Kardos looked at her dad from the corner of her eye, standing in the kitchen in his robe with a hot cup of coffee in his skilled hands. She knew he was right, she should not be this tired, she was out of shape, and that needed to chance. She spots the little white and black checkered ball a few feat away, and runs for it, kicking it with as much force as she can. With precise accuracy, it hits its mark, the top left target on pinned to the soccer net.
It’s another two hours of kicking, target hitting, and foot skills before her dad calls her inside. The sun was up now, and it was beginning to be a hot day, she knew she would be outside again as soon as her father finished with her. She was determined to be in shape for this years play, her team had finished third, but this would be the year that Bates High would win the gold. She undid her cleats, and places them on the mud rug by the door, pealing off her soggy socks and tossing them in the laundry room beside the mud room.
“Braelyn,” her father says, as she enters the room and sits across from him at the table, “Your mother and I have new for you, she wanted to be here when I told you, but she schedule hasn’t allowed it. She was nervous now, whenever her father had ‘news’ it was never good, it always meant a move, and that was something she did not want right now.
“Sunset Creek Academy’s team finished first last year, and the prior year. Your mother and I think you’ll do great things there,” he paused, seeming to judge her reaction, but Braelyn knew that making a fuss would not change his mind, she’s already tried.
“You leave on friday”
Name: Braelyn Kardos
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Sexual orientation: Heterosexual
Appearance:
Braelyn is 5’7, she’s not the skinniest girl in the school, but she is definitely on the slender side. Her body is built like an athletes, hard muscles, and a tight stomach. Her hair long and dirty blonde; her bangs sweep across her face and over her left eye, flipping out at the bottom. Her eyes are deep hazzle. Her skin is tanned from all the sports she plays, but she has some pretty bad tan lines from her sports bra and shorts. When not sporting the schools uniform, she likes to wear her converse, jeans and a V-neck T with some random accessories. Either that, or in her sporting yoga pants and tank top. Braelyn has her nose pierced on the right side, as well as her ears and her belly button. She has a tattoo in her ankle, going around it in cursive patters, and the words Live.Love.Laugh in cursive writing around it.
Personality: Braelyn can be stubborn when, she can also be hot headed. When it comes to sports, she’s a competitor. Rough and tough on the field she goes all out, and not above sharing a few words with some opponents. She’s the type to get everybody else fired up and ready to kick some but! She’s always ready to take a challenge, and when someone is foolish enough to mess with her, watch out!
Off the field, she’s very outgoing, and straightforward. She can be flirtatious and fun, but she can also be serious and studious…although the former wins out most of the time. Texting and IMing is her link to the gossip. She loves her friends, and will stick by them no matter what. When it comes to those she loves, she’s as competitive as she is when she’s in the field. With Braelyn your always in for a laugh, or a good time, she’s fun to be around. And when you need something more serious, she’s good for that too.
History: Braelyn’s mom is a lawyer, spending long hours at the office or in the courtroom, she not home a lot, and when she is; she’s sitting with her nose in a pile of folders. Her dad is a doctor at a local hospital back in her hometown. She doesn’t see her parents often, there hours often leaving them out till the early hours of the morning. When she does see her parents, there on her about her sports, mainly, soccer, the sport she’s best at.
Her parents have sent her from private school to private school, depending on which has the better soccer team. Her last school’s team only came third in the league, and now, she finds herself at Sunset Creek Academy. This time, no matter what the team is like, she plans on staying. Moving from school to school is difficult, making friends is easy, and keeping them is the challenge.
